Bytemine
Bytemine is a collection of 5,000 animated miner units (BITE) live on Robinhood Chain mainnet. Every miner is a machine that continuously digs through the network and extracts nine classes of data — from worthless corrupted sectors to the rarest signal. Mined data is claimed into your inventory and sold to the on-chain market, which pays instantly in the $DATA token. Everything below is enforced by verified contracts — the addresses are listed in section 07.
Traits are rolled on-chain at mint and never change:
- 9 extraction chances (1–5% each) — how good the unit is at each data class. They drive the mining rate and the artwork.
- Speed 1–5 — a global multiplier from ×1.0 to ×2.0 on everything the unit mines.
- Boost +2% to +20% — a flat bonus on all output. Tiers are rarity-weighted: +2/+4/+7 are common, +12 is uncommon, and roughly 3 units in 100 roll the full +20%.
- Power — the expected market value of everything the unit mines per day, at full prices: every class's rate × its chance × its market weight, times speed and boost. One number to compare any two miners — higher power = more valuable daily output. It also picks the room your miner lives in, from a basement to the core hall.
A freshly minted miner is idle. Press Activate and it starts mining — accrual runs every second, no clicking needed. Mined data waits in the miner's buffer until you claim it.
Activation costs 0 ETH per miner and locks the NFT: a mining unit cannot be transferred or sold on marketplaces. Unlocking is a paid action — 0 ETH per miner while the season runs, 0 ETH after it ends.
Unclaimed data belongs to the miner, not your wallet. Unlocking banks everything the unit mined onto the token itself — sell the NFT and the data ships with it. The new owner sees a Claim button on that miner and claims each data class at the usual fee.

Claiming moves data from your miners' buffers into your inventory. The fee is charged per data class, no matter how many miners you claim from:
- Claim a single class — 0 ETH.
- Claim everything at once (all 9 classes) — 0 ETH.
- Each sale on the market (always one class) — 0 ETH.
- Activate a miner — 0 ETH; unlock it — 0 ETH mid-season, 0 ETH after.
Batching is free: claiming from 20 miners costs the same as from one. The fees exist so that dribbling micro-claims and micro-sales costs real money, while patient mining and holding costs nothing.
The market holds 20% of the total $DATA supply and buys data for the whole season. Every sale pays out instantly at:
payout = amount × weight × base price × demand × class health
- Demand — the buying budget is a capped till that refills every second at the season rate and never overflows. Nobody selling means a full till and full prices; selling drains it instantly and softens prices for everyone, and it recovers in real time. Demand depends only on how much people sell.
- Class health — each class tracks its own sell pressure, decaying smoothly every second (24h half-life). A dumped class pays less and recovers on its own. Other classes are untouched.
- Slippage guard — every sale carries a minimum-payout bound; if the price moves too far mid-flight, the transaction reverts instead of underpaying you.
A payout can never exceed the unlocked budget, so the pool mathematically lasts the whole season. Whatever the market never paid out is swept by the team when the season ends.
Fixed supply of 10,000,000 $DATA. Every token sits on a contract — the team wallet holds zero:
- 20% — season-1 mining pool, held by the market contract and streamed to the till second by second.
- 20% — future-seasons reserve, an on-chain vault that funds season 2 and beyond.
- 60% — liquidity reserve, an on-chain vault for the trading pool. A seed position of ~100,000 $DATA already sits in the ETH/$DATA pool (Uniswap v4, initialized at a $100k starting valuation).
Trading opens after the mining season, in this order:
- The liquidity reserve is added to the pool as a single-sided position spanning every price above the start — the token mathematically cannot be bought out and the price has no ceiling.
- Transfers unlock and trading launches with a declining launch fee: 99% → 3% over the first 5 minutes (anti-snipe), then a flat 3% forever — always charged in ETH inside the swap. Once launched, the fee can only ever be lowered, never raised.
- The pool also carries the standard 0.3% Uniswap LP fee.
- $DATA can enter the pool manager only through the official pool — rival pools cannot be funded, so the fee cannot be routed around.
While the season runs, $DATA earned from selling data is held by you but locked for transfers — it unlocks together with trading.
| Contract | Address | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| BITE collection | 0xFD4908b6…b5b007 | SeaDrop-based NFT of 5,000 miners. Rolls each unit's traits on-chain at mint; enforces the mining lock; serves whole wallets with traits in a single call. |
| $DATA token | 0xA6d22484…0A90D4 | Fixed 10M supply. Transfers locked until trading launches; guards the pool manager so only the official pool can be funded. |
| Data market | 0x6EE4290B…1CE67c | The game: activation, per-second mining, claims, the capped till and instant buy-back. Seasons live here — each starts by an owner transaction, runs its exact duration and ends by itself. |
| Season reserve | 0xA0840D75…D5c536 | On-chain vault with 20% of supply. Funds season 2 and beyond — tokens move from here into the market when a new season opens. |
| Liquidity reserve | 0xaeE4Fe98…e74455 | On-chain vault with 60% of supply. A ~100k seed already sits in the trading pool; the rest becomes the launch liquidity after the season. |
| Trading fee hook | 0x412233c1…3144cC | Uniswap v4 hook on the ETH/$DATA pool. Charges the launch fee schedule (99% to 3%, then flat 3%) in native ETH inside every swap; fees can only ever be lowered. |
- 1 · Mint — BITE mints on OpenSea. Mining stays sealed while the collection sells.
- 2 · Reveal — every unit gets its animated room, rendered from its on-chain traits.
- 3 · Mining opens — one transaction starts the 10-day season and every timer with it: the till begins to fill from 0%, activation opens, the countdown runs.
- 4 · The season — mine, claim, sell to the market or hold. The season ends by itself after exactly 10 days.
- 5 · Trading launch — the liquidity reserve moves into the ETH/$DATA pool, transfers unlock and trading opens with the 99% to 3% launch fee. From here $DATA trades freely.
- 6 · Next seasons — funded from the on-chain season reserve, opened by one transaction each; your miners resume by themselves.
- 1 — Mint BITE units on OpenSea, then connect your wallet here.
- 2 — Activate them in My Miners. They mine on their own from that moment.
- 3 — Claim: everything at once, or a single data class if that's all you need.
- 4 — Sell on the Market when demand is high and the class is healthy — or hold; unclaimed and held data costs nothing.
